Safety
Safety has always been and always will be our #1 concern on this ride. Safety measures we have taken:
- Selection of a route on less traveled roads.
- Cue sheets with detailed accurate directions.
- Daily mapping meetings.
- Adequate support vans and personnel.
- Medical provisions in each van.
- Road signs and markings.
- Bike triangles.
Safety measures we expect:
- Helmet
- Responsible group riding.
- Staying on the route.
- Thumbs up or down signal to support vans.
- Adequate training and physical preparation.
- Ability to be self-sustained while on the road.
