PPRAC was organized in 1983 by Bob Freed, an Allentown schoolteacher (read more). There have been 13 rides since then and we are currently planning our 14th ride for 2009. We would like to share with you our thoughts and a few photos of the last two rides.
- 2007 Ride - Erie, PA to Palmerton, PA
PPRAC finished another successful ride in 2007. We raised over $150,000! PPRAC is a six-day biennial ride raising funds for the American Cancer Society and Dream Come True.
- 2005 Ride - Waynesboro, VA to Palmerton, PA
The 2005 ride a great success. PPRAC completed their twelfth bi-annual Ride Against Cancer, riding 500+ miles through the hills of Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania. The team of over 35 riders out-did themselves this year and raised $10,000 more than their goal amount!
