American Cancer Society Dream Come True

Money Raised2007 PPRAC Ride

We Reached Our Goal!

The Pennsylvania Perimeter Ride Against Cancer has finished another successful ride. Thank you to all of our sponsors, volunteers, riders and everyone who helped make PPRAC XIII a great success!

Day #1: Erie, PA to Warren, PA (view photos)
PPRAC XIII starts with a view of Lake Erie and heads inland to explore the most North Western part of our beautiful state. We'll leave Pa for a little while and may even lunch at Chautauqua Lake near Jamestown, Ny. We'll finish our day in Warren at the Western edge of the great Allegheny National Forest

Day #2: Warren, PA to Coudersport, PA (view photos)
Bring your cameras today. We'll tour through the beautiful Allegheny National Forest as we head towards Coudersport. A quaint town near one of the best Amateur Astronomy sites on the East Coast. We'll also get a good chance to test our mountain legs today.

Day #3: Coudersport, PA to Mansfield, PA (view photos)
Today we will enjoy the scenery of Susquehannock State Park as we make our way along the ridges over to Mansfield. Pack a good lunch today because there is a reason Astronomers like this area. There is very little around. We will also pass through the charming town of Wellsboro.

Day #4: Mansfield, PA to Williamsport, PA (view photos)
Another day of fun on the bike pedaling through country side that rivals the beauty of Vermont. Rolling hills and tiny towns. You might even think you went the wrong way when you see the sign for Jersey Shore. If you happen to enjoy a cold one now and then you'll enjoy Williamsport. It's rumored there is a beer pub of sorts near our lodging.

Day #5: Williamsport, PA to Berwick, PA (view photos)
This will be our rambling day. If you look at a map, it's only 40 miles from Williamsport to Berwick. I'm sure the mapping committee will find a few extra miles for you to enjoy.

Day #6: Berwick, PA to Palmerton, PA (view photos)
It's hard to believe that another PPRAC is almost over. Enjoy the day as you think of the miles past and new friendships made. We'll traverse through some of the ole coal country as we work our way down towards Palmerton. We'll find a few hills along the way now that you and your legs are a Lean, Mean, Pedaling, machine.
